Position Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Status: Full Time/ Non-Exempt

Report to: Customer Service Manager

Overview:

Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Summary:

Mr. Greens is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Customer Service Rep. In this position, you will play a vital role in the Customer Service function of the company. The position is responsible for resolving escalated customer issues, working with clients and vendors to resolve concerns. Respond to any claims submitted by customers. Analyzing any errors committed and provide feedback for improving procedures.

Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for working directly with customers, sales and production to ensure job is completed correctly.
  • Ensuring excellent relationships between production, vendors, sales and customers requiring strong organizational work habits, good judgment, excellent communication skills, and follow-through on time-sensitive activities.
  • Provides timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries
  • Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs
  • Responds professionally to all customer requests
  • Personally, act as the representative on behalf of the company in all activities. Including reviewing proofs with a customer and notifying the customer of alteration charges.
  • Serves both Sales Reps and Customers as primary contact and source of information.
  • Services the customer by solving problems, gathering and transmitting information as needed and demanding the highest quality product.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years working in a customer focused environment
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Must have call center experience with high volume calling
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in a face paced environment (i.e. talk on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)
  • Operate with ownership, be a self-starter, and have a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt to change in accordance with the business needs of the company
  • Flexibility to shift schedule and work overtime as needed by the business unit
  • Must bring proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
  • Bilingual Preferred in English and Spanish
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Individual sits for long periods of time while operating a keyboard and communicating via telephone.

  • May include lifting things up to 15 pounds, on occasion.
  • Must enter the warehouse to print tickets.
  • Must be able to work in 35-70 degree temperatures.
