Job Title: Game Day Dispatcher
Status: Seasonal Part-time

The Washington Commanders are seeking responsible individuals to join our Game Day Base Team on a Part Time basis. The right fit individuals will provide excellent customer service to support games and events at Commanders Field.

This position will work collaboratively to resolve issues that may arise in the stadium by fielding calls and dispatch a proper response team. Enhance the game day experience for our guests and by supporting our staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work ALL 2022 Commanders Home Games and Major Events
  • Provide guests with excellent customer service to enhance their game day fan experience
  • Enforce event location, Commanders, and NFL rules, regulations, and policies
  • Identify problems when/before they occur and quickly contact the best representative to rectify the situation (Cleaning, Security, Managers Etc...)
  • Receive and quickly act upon requests or complaints from guests. In the event of a serious problem, rapidly defer to upper management
  • Monitor, Input, and Dispatch incidents in real time as they appear in Incident Management System
  • Provide immediate assistance to and emergency notification of guests in the event of an accident or injury
  • In the event of an emergency, assist in evacuating the stadium, while maintaining a calm, professional manner
  • Communicate detailed information over phones and radios using proper phone and radio etiquette
  • Write comprehensive incident reports in real time as they happen.

Requirements:
  • Must have the ability to commit to work all Football Home Games, Concerts, Soccer, Major Stadium Events, and potential playoff games
  • Must be at least18 and over with HS Diploma or GED
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Requires the ability to perform duties with attention to detail
  • Previous Experience working in a Command Center or as a Dispatcher is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn new software's and systems. Experience with 24/7 Software is a plus.
  • Ability to be professional, friendly, and courteous, regardless of the situation and provide a high level of customer service with internal and external contacts
  • Requires effective verbal communication skills, excellent writing skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Technological Competence and willingness to learn systems
  • Be a team player who can work well in a fast-paced challenging environment
