The Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) is located in Northern California and serves 13 districts and 17 charter schools in Butte County and provides services to students and educators in all 58 California Counties and employs 1500 people in Butte County and across the state.
Requirements / Qualifications

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters of recommendation required, current letters preferred)
- Other (Must possess 48 semester units from an accredited college or university; or 2) Associate's degree or higher; or 3) CBEST (Plus passage of CODESP Instructional Component); or 4) Passage of a Butte County Office of Education approved comprehensive Local Assessment Test; or 5) Passage of another district approved Local Assessment Test )

FINGERPRINTING FOR CONDUCTING A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION IS REQUIRED and completed upon offer of employment
To comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all new employees must provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States
Upon offer of employment proof of a valid driver's license will be required. Will be required to have or obtain and maintain the Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 3.5 months of hire into the position.
