Summary

We are seeking a reliable and versatile individual for a dual role as a Box Truck Driver and Warehouse Associate. This hybrid position involves both driving a company box truck for deliveries and performing various tasks within our warehouse.

Job Details:

  • Full-Time
  • Paid Bi-weekly
  • Start Immediately
  • Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 / hour
  • Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
  • A Class C license

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Driving Duties:
  • Safely operate a company box truck to transport goods to various locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and clients.
  • Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that arise during the delivery process.
  • Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Warehouse Duties:
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in regular stock counts.
  • Communicate with the sales/ warehouse department regularly throughout the day.
  • Operate a forklift to handle incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure that all shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and loaded onto the vehicle for delivery.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a long-haul truck driver, demonstrating a safe driving record and adherence to transportation regulations (in-state driving only)
  • A Class C license is a must. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading cargo as well as long hours of driving
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and have experience in material handling duties.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures is a plus.
