Brookside Multicare Nursing Center - Education/Experience/QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Current New York State certification.  Listed in the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.

 

  1. One year nursing home experience preferred.

 

Physical/Mental Qualifications

 

    1. Must be physically and mentally able to meet the needs of the residents in their care.

 

    1. Must be able to lift and transfer residents with or without mechanical lifts

 

    1. Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.

 

    1. Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of fifty pounds (50 lbs.)

 

    1. Good physical health, muscle strength and dexterity.  Good vision and hearing with or without corrective aides.

 

    1. Must be able to speak and write the English Language in an understandable manner.

 

    1. Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor when under pressure.
