Responsibilities

Position Details:

Supervise and provide care, direction and guidance to children and youth 0 -16 years of age. Assist with the record keeping and perform duties necessary for the overall care and well-being of the children and youth within the programs which also includes the upkeep of the facility.

* Manages groups with the focus on age-appropriate activities and socialization.
* Provides attention and support for medical issues, students education/vocational needs, and all appointments.
* Develops healthy and helping relationships with children/youth and families.
* Coordinate individual activities and group activities such as games and trips.
* Logs all reports, incidents and informs the caseworkers and supervisors of any issues related to children/youth.
* Provides basic care to infants, toddlers and children in program including meals and snacks, as well as attending to developmental, health and safety needs.
* Supervise visits with infants, children and youth and their families.
* Must be able to travel from the various locations and sites of Rising Ground.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma/GED required.
* Clean Driver's License.
