Image Eyecare Optometry are a well-established private practice in South San Jose. We are searching for a part-time Associate Optometrist for 2 days a week: Monday 9-6pm and Saturday 9-5pm with 1 hour lunch each day. Established in 2014, this modern practice strives to help patients see and look their best-through a caring team of Optometrists and a highly-trained optometric staff, patients can expect a total eye and vision care experience. The practice provides comprehensive eye exams for children and adults and specializes in medical eye care, myopia management, hard-to-fit contact lenses, surgical co-management for LASIK, cataracts, and glaucoma, and handles eye emergencies.

What you'll do:

As a permanent, part-time associate Optometrist, you'll provide eye care services for patients of all ages and visual diagnosis, promote good eye health through patient education, and recommend vision-enhancing products-an average of 12 to 15 full exams are performed daily. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, cloud-based EHR, and practice management software. A team of Optometric Technicians performs all pretesting and billing, enabling the doctors to focus on quality patient care.

Who we're seeking:

A self-motivated team player who promotes good eye health through patient education and recommends vision-enhancing products;

skilled in specialty contact lenses (Scleral CLs and Ortho-K) and medical eye care; at lease one year of experience in general optometry is preferred.

The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, cloud-based EHR, and practice management software. A team of Optometric Technicians and Opticians performs all pretesting and billing, enabling the doctors to focus on quality patient care.

* Optometry license in the state of California
