Responsibilities

The Chief Technologist is responsible for supervising all related activities involving gastroenterology services according to policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the facility. Responsible for all aspects of staff personnel, environmental control, assistance to physicians, material and equipment, education of personnel and all administrative duties associated with the department. Participates in obtaining qualified personnel for all areas of gastroenterology services.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ability to provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility.

+ Functions as a GI Tech in the procedure room.

+ Responsibly demonstrates and the importance of continuing education to the performance of facility responsibilities and growth in profession.

+ Interacts with all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees in a mature, responsible manner to ensure a positive and professional environment.

+ Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position

Qualifications

+ High School Graduate or Equivalent

+ Prior experience as a GI Tech in a leadership role required

+ BLS at hire

+ Certification preferred.

USD $25.00/Hr. USD $32.00/Hr.
