National Clinical Outreach - Corporate | Summit Healthcare Mgmt | Tallahassee, Florida
About the Job:
The National Clinical Outreach is responsible for representing Summit BHC to the public, as well as hosting the public when visiting our facility. This position is responsible for knowing Summit BHC mission, vision, and philosophy: who we are, who we serve and what makes us unique. Makes Summit known in our respective market, regionally and nationally, employing creative approaches with well-established methods for growing our reputation among professional referrals.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Consults with the Director of National Business Development in developing and implementing business development programs.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Summit BHC programming and clinical practice and Corporate Business Development policies and guidelines.
  • Maintains a schedule of primary sources including business, industry, EAPs, managed care of clients, physicians/licensed practitioners, and allied health professionals. Documents every contact in the appropriate Customer Management Relationship system on a weekly basis.
  • Maintains business development referral/admission records and statistics, including the preparation of business development reports and materials.
  • Targets and creates new strategies for increasing business in a highly competitive market.
  • Develops yearly and quarterly marketing plans with specific goals.
  • Develops and maintains key business development accounts and respond to all business development opportunities.
  • Develops and implements community workshops and seminars, held within the facilities or community.
  • Represents the facilities at civic and professional functions as approved.
  • Furthers the goals and positive, professional image of the facilities by acting as a major link between the facilities, referral sources and the general public.
  • Takes direction, guidance, training and support from the Director of National Business Development.
  • Generates face to face meetings and admissions activity per goal as indicated by National Director of Business Development.
  • Maintains collaborative working relationship with Admissions Department.
  • Creates dynamic relationships within assigned market to support the portfolio at large.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Behavioral Health, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in health care business development/marketing environment, preferably in the addiction and/or mental health treatment field.

Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
