Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a CDL Delivery Driver position available in Flowood, MS Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. The CDL Delivery Driver makes daily stops on a local route while safely operating a box truck. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload and transport the merchandise to the customers.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 5:30 am until 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

* Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' trailer with air brakes
* Load and unload cargo
* Properly track and document activity log
* Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
* Inspect the truck before and after each trip

Qualifications

You have:

* A valid commercial driver's license
* Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
* Good driving record
* Must pass a pre-employment drug test
* 1 year of lift gate experience
* 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
* 1 year of recent CDL experience
* Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
* Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
* Strong work ethic
