Essential Job Functions

* Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic background with some form of technical education.
* Ability to work safely, promote safe operations, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings.
* Strong trouble shooting ability and problem-solving skills.
* Basic understanding of PLC and HMI systems
* Experienced in the use of test equipment such as voltage and amp meters.
* Knowledge of basic electrical code and wiring practices.
* Must have basic metal fabrication experience, welding, cutting, and machining.

Additional Job Responsibilities

* Ability to manage projects and repairs as directed by Management.
* Ability to control and re-order essential equipment parts and supplies.
* Repairs to Building infrastructure and grounds.
* Maintain Housekeeping and 5S+1 standards throughout the facility and grounds.

Requirements

* Must read, write, and speak English.
* Trade school or min. of 5 years relevant work experience
* At least 18 years of age
* Valid drivers license
* Licensed forklift driver
* Ability to influence and direct other employees.
* May be required to work "off shift" hours to include weekends and Holidays.
* Ability to communicate department inventory or replenishment needs
* Strong inter-personal communication skills
* Basic computer skill

Environment

* Capable of working standing up for 8 to 10 hours per day
* Capable of working in a rubber molding environment
* Capable of lifting 40 pounds
