The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Public Health and Safety Division, Office of Vital Records.

The Record Corrections Specialist handles records related to corrections for birth, death, and fetal death, as well as paternity acknowledgements. They oversee the day-to-day administrative duties to ensure the seamless functioning of the record corrections program. They are proficient in a range of software programs and have experience in database management. This position is involved in correcting and updating crucial events. Additionally, the role involves assisting in troubleshooting various issues with the State's database management system and providing guidance on the online amendment system. They prepare forms and security paper to county Clerk and Recorders and data providers as requested. Furthermore, the position entails direct interaction with the public, federal and State agencies, city officials, and tribal courts.

Additional Information

This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.50 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
