SUMMARY

Assists with installation, repair and maintenance of building Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and

refrigeration systems, ensuring installation and operations are in accordance with applicable building codes, and Policies

and Procedures on all entities and properties under the control of Grand Casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION

* Responsible for preventative and general HVAC maintenance, maintaining logbooks and documentation necessary

for conformance with set standards.

* Performs HVAC projects as assigned.
* Responsible for doing all work to comply with established building codes.
* Responds to work orders on a daily basis, according to entity and property needs.
* Ability to understand and adjust building automation controls.
* Maintains inventory stock.
* Maintains strict adherence of all codes, OSHA safety rules and ensures regulations.
* Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are in accordance with the manufacturer instructions

as outlined in the SDS.

* Responsible for ordering HVAC parts and for consultation of out-sourcing products.
* Establish and adhere to project schedules.
* Communicate with appropriate management for coordination and implementation of project goals and timelines.
* Reads schematics and performs electrical troubleshooting on all mechanical equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

* Talk and hear.
* See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
* Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
* Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
* Lift and/or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
* Climb a variety of ladders, up to 36 feet and use aerial lift equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Two (2) years' HVAC technical training with completion certification.
* Two (2) years' experience in operating computerized building automation systems.
* EPA certification required. MPCA certification preferred but not required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

* Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
* Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
* Must follow and enforce all relevant DGR's.
* Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Bilingual and able to speak Spanish proficiently a plus.
