Position at Latham Pool Products, Inc

This role is responsible for supporting the business within the Accounts Receivable department by providing financial and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts and monthly reporting while working closely with the Credit Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Maintain billing system, perform customer account reconciliations, releasing orders, carry out collections and reporting activities including generating and mailing/e-mailing invoices and customer statements
* Maintain customer files and monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities, research and resolve customer queries, and communicate with customers via phone or email to collect on accounts
* Timely and accurate processing of cash and credit card receipts, prepare bank deposits
* Support monthly close process including assistance with closing the company's books, issuing monthly reports, preparing and analyzing account reconciliations
* Contribute to team effort and ad hoc requests by accomplishing related tasks as needed
* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

* Associate's degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma/GED may be considered with equivalent level of experience
* Minimum two (2) years of Accounts Receivable experience; Financial analysis and problem-solving skills a plus
* Background in manufacturing Finance Operations and/or seasonal business environments a plus
* Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
* Proficient PC skills with demonstrated experience using MS Office suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Strong work ethic; Approachable and responsive; Conveys a positive approach; Ability to be proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Must be available to work 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday, with occasional overtime; at least 40 hours per week.
* Physical: Ability to stay in a sitting position for extended periods while looking at a computer monitor. Repetitive keyboarding ability.
* Travel: Not applicable

The salary range for this position is $20-$22 per hour
