JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: Behavior Analyst
Qualifications:
* Effective communication and problem solving skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting
* Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education or related field required
* At least 3 years' experience working with individuals with autism and related disorders or developmental disabilities with comorbid mental health needs
* NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure or ability to obtain licensure
* Ability to utilize a flexible approach
* Able to work and communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, outside agencies, and other groups.
* Ability to evaluate, plan, and execute treatments
Responsibilities Shall include but are not limited to the following:
* Implement applied behavior analytic services;
* Provide direct modeling and support as needed;
* Provide training for staff;
* Perform psychosocial assessments, functional behavior assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments;
* Works collaboratively with staff and families to achieve positive outcomes;
* Develops function-based behavioral interventions;
* Strives to maintain and improve professional competence through participation in area conferences, workshops, etc., and membership on district committees and in professional organizations;
* Other assigned duties and/or responsibilities which may be deemed appropriate by the supervisors;
* Maintain Data Security as applicable;
* Maintain confidentiality with staff, students, and family information.
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Personnel
Salary: Minimum starting salary $44,929 as per the Victor Teachers' Association Agreement.
