Job Description

SUMMARY

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer questions, provide directions and information to guests. Maintain daily operations outside of the Pro Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:
  • Picks up and drops off golf course guest in the parking lot.
  • Meets and greets guests with a smile, giving proper directions and information to the guests.
  • Keeps area free of trash and debris.
  • Picks up range baskets and balls.
  • Keeps cart fleet clean and in good repair.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory or management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-year experience in golf operations is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Advanced knowledge of the game of golf.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional status with guests and vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a close working relationship with management and co-workers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires frequent standing and walking. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Work is performed in an environment with moderate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, chemicals, and dust.
