The Team Assistant will provide support to the Supported Living department ensuring compliance with regulations and agency standards, assisting with administrative duties, and supporting client health and safety efforts.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain files, prepare and compose correspondence
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages and handle follow-up
  • Facilitate client spend downs and purchases
  • Handle meeting arrangements, take minutes and forward information to appropriate parties
  • Run reports to ensure documentation compliance/billing
  • Ensure documentation is submitted by required deadline
  • Assist with client coverage as needed during day time work hours
  • Coordinate and assist with client moves
  • Schedule vans for staff use
  • Maintain general supplies for the department (medical supplies, clothing, lunch items, etc.)
  • Assist in ordering client specific items to ensure all client needs are met
  • Assist with transporting clients as needed
  • Assist department with obtaining client medications and delivery of medications
  • Provides supports to department QIDP's (inputting data, running reports, or printing off paperwork, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with all State and agency policies
  • Ensure House Leads complete site inspections on time, or as needed
  • Must be willing to work with all clients which includes working shifts
  • Assist with staffing doctor's appointments as needed
  • Complete all other duties as requested by the director or managers.

PHYSICAL TASKS
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times unassisted

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exercise good judgment

EDUCATION
  • Must have high school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) year's experience in a comparable position preferred
