Position Title:

Slate CRM Administrator

Job Description:

The Slate Administrator is responsible for the overall administration and support of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM). As the Slate Administrator, you will be innovative in providing guidance and support to functional users in the day-to-day management of Technolutions Slate. This position will primarily support Advancement initiatives, as well as collaborate internally to implement, modify, and maintain integrations with the Student Information System, Finance System, and other campus systems. The Slate Administrator receives direction from, and reports to the Director of Business Applications but will be an integrated and collaborative member of our Advancement Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Some of the major responsibilities include:

1. Maintain administrative system software

* Monitor release changes, coordinate and communicate systems changes to appropriate stakeholders and end users as appropriate
* Resolution of systems problems with vendors and network support
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of security/user profiles to ensure system and data integrity.
* Communicate project status to management on a regular basis.

2. Business Process Optimization

* Responsible for the development and maintenance of various data and process structures, including but not limited to events, forms, portals, letters, fields, entities, datasets, and processing rules.
* Configure and re-design business processes in coordination with end users to optimize efficiency and maximize system functionality.

3. Integration Management

* Manage data integrations and assist with error correction in the feed of data between systems, vendor files, and site-specific forms that insert records into the system. Develop in-depth knowledge of data integrations and business process data usage, troubleshooting when necessary.
* Manage and monitor daily, weekly, and ad-hoc data imports and electronic processing to ensure accuracy and correct formatting.

4. General System Support

* Cycle preparation, and prospect development
* Educates end users on system capabilities and establish documentation for complex processes
* Assist with the implementation of automated communication plans, including template design, population segmentation, personalization, testing, and deployment, as well as the creation of population groups for campaigns.

Minor responsibilities may include:

* Maintain an awareness of new and emerging technologies.
* Maintain an awareness of and promote industry standards.

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years experience of software administration and/or analysis.
* Consistently exercises sound judgment, demonstrates ethical conduct, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting. Must have ability to work under pressure in a demanding academic environment.
* Can relate to and work well with a variety of people and work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with, or desire to learn, SQL querying language, API's, system security best practices.
* Experience with, or desire to learn, CSS/Javascript and PowerBI.
* Possess knowledge of academic administrative software and operating environments (preferred).

Ideal candidates will be flexible, creative, and energetic. The ideal and preferred candidate will have previous experience in higher education, significant previous experience in Slate with a proven track record of designing and implementing creative solutions within Slate, and extensive knowledge of data logic and querying tools.
