Summary of Job:

Individual working on a team delivering the successful installation, start-up, and operation of digital (DDC), electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic HVAC control components. Individual will work under the direction of a BAS technician.

Education and Experience

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Five (5)+ years of experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

* BAS Protocols - Develops an understanding of BAS communication protocols
* Electrical Knowledge - Develops a basic understanding of Ohm's Law
* Blueprints - Understands the basic concepts of blueprints and schematic drawings
* HVAC Systems - Develops basic understanding of HVAC systems and components
* Hydronic Systems - Understands the basics of chilled, condenser and hot water systems
* Air Side Systems - Understands the basics of variable and constant volume air flows.
* Computer Skills - Possesses basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
* Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
* Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret information
* Leadership - Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others
