Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the A/R Billing Supervisor, the A/R Billing Rep III is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up with all payer types for all unpaid claims, consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

* 4 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
* 1 year experience with IDX Practice management system.
* High School Diploma.
* Knowledge of physician billing regulations.
* Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Working knowledge of computers -- demonstrated proficiency in email systems, internet and office software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office.
* 1 year experience with Cerner EHR.
* AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
* Strong MS Excel skills to interpret and analyze high volume of data.
* Knowledge of Google Suite.
