Work Schedule and Shift Premiums

Full time (Nights) | 7pm - 7 am | 36 hours per week based on census, 12-hour shifts including every other weekend

2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour; 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour; weekend premium is an additional $1.00/hour

Qualifications for the RRT

  • Current CRT/RRT License in the State of Michigan
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities of the RRT

  • Ventilator/BIPAP management
  • Perform physical examination and diagnostic tests including EKG and ABG measuring lung capacity and blood acidity and alkalinity
  • Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy
  • Perform pulmonary clearance procedures on patients
  • Chart response and progress of therapies administered in electronic medical record
  • Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
  • Educate patients on how to use equipment and medication
