Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Ashland, as the Boiler Operator :

* Follow all safety rules and standard operational procedures


* Monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely


* Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation


* Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the powerhouse


* Attend and participate in daily crew meetings

* Boiler license is ideal for position, or 3-5 years of related boiler experience - we are willing to offer the training & certification to the ideal candidate


* Manufacturing experience and powerhouse experience and consistent work history preferred


* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience required


* Must show a commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude


* Consistently display positive behavior that supports the organization's goals and objectives


* Must be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical principles


* This job entails bending, walking, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift


* Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture


* Highly flexible with the ability to adjust to the demands of the job, produce high quality work, and can be depended on to complete assigned tasks. Must be a self-starter


* Ability to communicate well with others and able to participate in team meetings
