Moore Colson is looking for dynamic Senior Tax Managers to join our growing Tax practice in Atlanta. Senior Tax Managers are responsible for (but not limited to):
* Reviewing tax returns of varying complexities
* Delegating tax preparation and research to staff (as appropriate)
* Preparing complex business income tax returns
* Tax consulting and projections
* Assuming client service responsibility
* Developing staff members
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred
* Current CPA license required
* 6-8 years experience preparing corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns in a public accounting firm
* Minimum of one (1) year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
* Exceptional Excel skills
* Proficiency with tax automation / workflow software is a plus
* Consultative approach and client service oriented
* Exceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)
* Self-Directed, Autonomous, Ambitious
