Anesthesia Technician

Job Overview
In collaboration with the anesthesiologist/CRNA, the anesthesia technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age specific care to patients in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
Qualifications
* Graduated from an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology, or a suitable combination of education and 2 years of experience.
Preferred
Certifications and Licenses required (if applicable)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Essential Functions
The anesthesia technician will coordinate and provide technical support to the providers of anesthesia in the operating room, assist with the educational development of learners within the anesthesia department, assist with patient care, and maintain and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
