For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
* 0 - 1 years of experience is eligible for up to $2,500 (full time)
* 1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000 (full time)
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time ANA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
36 Hours a week, 12 hour shifts, 7a - 7p, with weekend/holiday rotations
Float Pool
The Nursing Float Pool is the department for CNA's that are seeking a challenge and would like exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels.
* Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit; which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills
* 12 hour shifts
Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
