CDL HazMat and Tank Endorsed Truck Driver

A HazMat and Tank Endorsed Truck Driver will be responsible for driving gasoline or diesel-powered fuel, water, and/or dump trucks on job sites to transport and deliver a variety of materials.

Responsibilities:

* Drives truck to the destination and returns
* Climbs on and off the truck body during loading, unloading, and tie-down procedures
* Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations (including I.C.C. Regulations)
* Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
* Completes pre-trip and post-trip truck inspection reports
* Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, and batteries, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs
* Follow the truck maintenance schedule
* Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards
* Follow specific directions
* Work within standards of accuracy
* Repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedures and evaluate information using measurable standards
* All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Must have HazMat and Tank Endorsements
* Stand, sit, or walk for long periods
* Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
* Stoop, kneel, and crouch
* See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)
* Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
* Must meet all Federal DOT Requirements
