04/15/2024Bloomfield Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Food Service, General Worker at Carmen Arace School

Applications will continue to be accepted through Monday, April 15, 2024 from qualified local candidates for the position of Food Service, General Worker (33.75 hours /week) at Carmen Arace School.

Work Year : 10 month position (180 days)
Work Day : 5 hours per day/33.75 hours per week

Hourly Wage : $15.17-$18.97 (Pending contract negotiations)

Qualifications
And Duties : High School Diploma or Equivalent.
: In-service training as required.
: Knowledge of foods and nutrition.
: Methods and techniques of quality food cookery.
: Sanitation & HACCP procedures.
: Operation and care of institutional equipment.
: Ability to follow oral and written instructions as well as adhere to department policies and procedures.
: Knowledge of computer operations and point-of-sale systems is preferred.
: Ability to work with figures and keep all records as directed.
: Must be free from communicable diseases and must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to withstand temperatures from 10* to 40* for up to 30 minutes. Must have the stamina necessary for the efficient performance of duties and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
