We are looking for a talented Neurodiagnostic Tech to join our team here at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, performs routine neurological tests to include EEG's (Electroencephalograms). May perform basic visual and auditory evoked potentials for use in diagnosis of neurological disorders. Performs electroencephalograph tests (EEG) on patients in order to record patient brain waves and nervous system responses.

The Neurodiagnostic Technician performs routine neurological tests to include EEG's (Electroencephalograms) in order to record patient brain waves and nervous system responses. Other duties include performing basic visual and auditory evoked potentials to provide quantitative and objective measures of sensory functioning for use in diagnosis of neurological disorders. Clerical duties such as maintaining patient logs and records as well as completion of billing procedures are required. The tech will also be responsible for general cleaning, maintenance and calibration records of all electroneurodiagnostic equipment.
