SUMMARY: Assumes a leadership role within the department.#Operates MRI scanner; processes images while maintaining patient safety. Prepares patient, room, equipment, supplies, and medication according to age specific standards. Produces MRI images as ordered/directed and in accordance with established practices and procedures.Communicates with management on the needs of the department, patient care, team development, engagement and performance improvement efforts. Required Education/Training:#High School diploma; Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiologic technology Required Experience: Two to three years of experience as an MRI#Technologist Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); MRI certification Preferred Experience: Previous Lead MRI technologist experience Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration:#BLS
