Summary:

Service of food and/or beverage to include the order taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items. This task is to be handles in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To understand and respond to all member and guest needs in a timely fashion.
  • Provide prompt, efficient service to all members and guests.
  • Retrieve orders in a timely period.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work place.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking Private Dining area.
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.

  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate Private Dining tray standards, service awareness and menu items.
  • Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Micro's procedures to pre-check order and close out checks.

Education and/or Experience:

Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. One to three years of hospitality experience preferred.

Language Skills:

Must be able to comprehend the English language in order to communicate with co-workers and fully understand job assignments.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Must be able to obtain any required certificates. i.e....Food Service Certification or, Liquor Service Card.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Attendance, Appearance and Conduct:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Ocean Reef Club from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, associate may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the Club and report deadlines.

Proper grooming is required by all associates and is described in detail in the Associates Handbook. Associates should review this policy and make sure that at all times they present themselves for shifts looking clean, neat and professional.

As a condition of employment, all associates agree to fully comply with Ocean Reef Club rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of Club facilities. Associates who violate Club rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
