AMI is seeking Per Diem Ultrasound Technologists to join the team in the Mullica Hill region of offices

At AMI, our technologists perform a variety of Ultrasound studies, including General, Vascular and Women's Imaging. AMI technologists are skilled, have excellent customer relations experience and are team players. Our Technologists work closely with Radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:
  • Performing all requested ultrasonographic exams in accordance with established policy and as per established hours of availability;
  • Reviewing all patient requests for diagnostic procedures as to designated anatomical part and clinical history;
  • Instructing patients regarding procedures and respects patient privacy at all times;
  • Ensures that the ultrasound equipment is in excellent operational condition as per established Quality Control procedures; and
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned.

Available shifts include weekdays, 7:30am-8pm, 7:30am-4pm, and 8am-6:30pm. Availability on Thursdays & Fridays strongly preferred. Saturday shifts include 8am-12pm in the Vineland Women's Center.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist who can perform all aspects of Sonography with expertise - General, Vascular, Breast and procedures;
  • Registry is required;
  • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine field a plus;
  • CPR/BLS Certification (Hands-on instruction included) required;
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision;
  • Must demonstrate flexibility in work assignments, scheduling and travel to AMI's office locations;
  • Ability to produce high quality images and provide documentation accurately and precisely;
  • Ability to exercise high standards of professionalism and teamwork;
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and communication skills;
  • Action oriented and eager to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with high energy and enthusiasm; and
  • Display strong work ethic with a friendly and cheerful disposition.
