Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.

Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography

MRAD:CA

BLS-CPR

One (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist is preferred.

Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.

Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety is required.

Duties:

Position patients accurately and comfortably for imaging procedures.

Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of breast tissue.

Ensure proper compression techniques are applied to optimize image quality and patient comfort.

Process, review, and evaluate mammography images for technical quality and diagnostic accuracy.
