The Staff Psychologist will participate in the CFA's interdisciplinary assessment, treatment, and consultation programs. Complete evaluations and follow-up appointments for children and individuals requiring a diagnosis to determine treatment or program placement. The psychologist will also have the opportunity to participate in interagency meetings to determine treatment models and lengths of stay for clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Plan a treatment program for clients diagnosed with autism and determine future ongoing needs
* Perform comprehensive and specialty assessments, including diagnostic and treatment evaluations at all CFA locations
* Performs detailed and accurate assessment and treatment of clients with ASD, ages 1-adult
* Complete BHRS -re-evaluations and addendums for children diagnosed with autism
* Attend interdisciplinary team meetings
* Evaluates progress on a regular basis and changes treatment accordingly within the treatment team
* Consults with Early Intervention agencies and the Philadelphia/ regional School Districts to provide consistent, coordinated care for clients
* Consults with treatment team, family support staff and parents to carry over any appropriate environmental adaptations
* Monitors the therapeutic environment to ensure that all clients are in environments appropriate to their needs
* Participate, with Outpatient Services, in training staff in specialty evidence-based treatment protocols
* Actively participate with supervisor in performance management process and assists with interview/ hiring process as directed
* Maintain client charts and responsible for obtaining consent signatures when necessary
* Complete and submit all billing information for evaluation and treatment sessions
* Ensure program compliance with The Center for Autism's policy and procedural guidelines
* Ensure program compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
* Participates in team meetings, department meetings and required in-service programs
* Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or Clinical Director

Confidentiality:

* It is the policy for the Center for Autism that clinical records are the property of the Center for Autism and shall be current and accurate. Clinical records are only accessible on a need to know basis and may not be duplicated, removed from the facility, or discussed outside the facility. Any staff member who is entrusted with a clinical record is responsible for safeguarding the information in the record against loss, defacement, tampering, or use by unauthorized persons
* Progress notes must be secured at all times
* Except as required by law, the written consent of the client, parent, family or other legally responsible parties is required for the release of clinical record information

Education & Experience:

Minimum requirements:

* Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an accredited program in Clinical, or School Psychology
* Hold a valid P.A. license
* Specialized post-doctoral training in Autism Spectrum Disorders
* Training and experience in administering and scoring standardized measures (e.g. ADOS-2) Plus:
* Familiarity with and ability to use other standardized measures such as SCQ, SRS-2, Ages and Stages, BASC-3
* Preferred: Experience in neuropsychological assessment including measures of language, learning/achievement memory, and executive function
* Preferred: Knowledge of applied behavior techniques and ability to conduct a functional behavior assessment
* Preferred: Experience working with CBH
* Preferred: Fluent in Spanish

Hourly Rate:
