**Description**

**Shift: 8a-4:30p**

**Location: Emory John's Creek Hospital**

+ Functions as a clinical expert and role model in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for a specific patient population.

+ Demonstrates expertise in the role components of Practitioner, Teacher, Clinical Expert, and Researcher, with emphasis on demonstrating mastery of practical and theoretical knowledge in clinical situations.

+ Collaborates with Radiology Leadership in developing & implementing unit's Mission, Vision, and Goals.

+ Monitors compliance and adherence to established procedures. Monitors the appropriateness of patient care assignments based on patient care requirements and staff competence.

+ Demonstrates advanced leadership and management skills. Serves as arbitrator in resolution of conflicts between staff.

+ Takes appropriate action to correct unacceptable practice as needed. Actively participates in developing and monitoring staff competency.

+ Coordinates, facilitates, and ensures the development and revision of all technical aspects of department operations.

+ Oversees scheduling of department procedures and activities. Collaborates with and serves as a resource to other staff in determining technical priorities to uphold the Standard of Care.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT.

+ Must have a minimum of four (4) years experience in diagnostic and invasive mammography.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
