Located in northern California Wine Country, the Ukiah Unified School District serves approximately 6,000 students, from preschoolers through adults. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent.Possess and maintains as a condition of ongoing employment, a Class C Driver's license and insurability.Possess or obtain within the first 5 months of hire, and maintain current as a condition for ongoingemployment, a valid California Class B, or higher, Driver's License with California Special DriverCertificate endorsement; passenger endorsement and air brake endorsement; a valid Federal Medicalexaminer's Certificate; a good driving record.Passing required, initial and subsequent random, drug and alcohol screenings, and passing pre-employment oral and/or written examination(s).Possess, and maintain as a condition for ongoing employment, First Aid and CPR certifications as requiredby DMV and CHP to operate a school bus.
