JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32
Shift Time: Monday through Friday 9:30am-6:00pm & Saturday and Sunday 8am-4:30pm. Every other weekend
Job Summary:
Performs all functions relating to the dispensing of medications, including the provision of information about dosing, side effects, and compatibilities for all patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in a Retail or Community Pharmacy. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree. Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana. Obtain at least 15 ACPE approved education hours per year.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
Physical Effort required:
Constant (67%-100%) - hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%)- reaching, handling/feeling, talking
Occasionally (1%-33%)- lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping
