Responsibilities
Ascension Wisconsin is looking for an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for our Nocturnist Department
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Wisconsin to provide medical services to patients.
Position Highlights:
* Ascension | Columbia St. Mary's has an exciting opportunity for Nocturnists, in Milwaukee, WI.
12 shifts per month
* No. of admits: expect about 5-9 admits per provider/per night - 2 docs at CSM, 1 at CSO
* Well-supported team-based practice
* Great working relationship with PCPs, ED, nursing and ancillary staff
* Collegial Hospitalist Team comprised of 28 physicians
* Comprehensive Specialist support at both locations
* EMR is EPIC
* Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine with strong IM training)
* Procedures optional, not required
* Highly competitive compensation package.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
* Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
* Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
Education:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
