open until filledThe Hampstead School District is seeking a school psychologist intern for the 2024-25 school year.

School psychologist intern applicants must be in their final year of study in a NASP accredited graduate program.

The School Psychologist Intern with proper supervision will perform the typical duties of a School Psychologist which may inlcude but not limited to:
  • Performing a minumim of 20 evaluations (psychological, behavioral, adaptive and/or educational)
  • Attending special education and general education meetings
  • Consulting with educators, administrators, parents and community resources as needed
  • Conducting individual and/or group counseling sessions for students eligible for such as service
  • Working collaboratively with the District's School Psychologists
  • Completing required special education documentation
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the school year

A listing of three professional references, cover letter of interest and 3 letters of recommendation are required for a completed application

This is a temporary position for the 2024-25 school year.
No employee benefits are associated with this position.
Estimated Stipend Amount for this position: $18,000.00
