Location: Learning Links Palo Alto

The Program Coordinator provide ongoing support to our center and assist our Director with administrative task to support our school. The coordinator is responsible for mentoring teachers, supporting families and children and providing exceptional customer service.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Responsible for front desk and reception area, answering calls, greeting and providing welcoming experience and supporting inquiries
  • Support management of our student tracking system on 1Core
  • Support and assist the Enrollment Coordinator(s) and Center Director with reaching center enrollment goals and managing transitions.
  • Assist in leading Learning Links Preschool vision of creating a thriving inclusive learning environment; providing quality early childhood education and supporting children of all abilities
  • Provide ongoing coaching to support teacher growth and improve quality in the classroom.
  • Model best teaching practices when in the classroom and coach teachers on teaching strategies
  • Support the management of all aspects of Title 22, licensing, and compliance policies in classroom setting
  • Support teacher and classroom scheduling to manage student ratio and classroom supervision, and manage the scheduling of on-call staff and substitutes
  • Support ECE/ECSE college relations, internships, and volunteer programs; manage scheduling and provide supervision to interns and volunteers
  • Contribute to a culture of learning, teamwork, problem solving, and innovation; support a positive work environment for teachers and learning environment for children
  • Support preschool team in continuous improvement through Quality Rating Improvement Systems (QRIS), DRDP assessments, and the tracking of student progress
  • Assist teachers in arranging the classroom into well-defined learning centers and ensure that the classroom functions in an orderly manner
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • 12+ core ECE units as per Title 22 requirements
  • Experience teaching children ages birth - 5 years old

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid California Driver's License/ID
  • Clean Driving Record (if applicable)
  • Proof of negative TB test results
  • Verification of occupational physical clearance
  • Complete a criminal fingerprint clearance
  • 18 years of age or job permit clearance

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
