Qualifications:
  • Valid Texas certification
  • Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience on an elementary campus preferred
  • Some experience in developing curriculum activities and TEKS-based assessments
Preferred:
  • ESL endorsement preferred

Special Knowledge & Skills:
  • Ability to plan and provide small group intervention for students identified as at risk in core subject areas
  • Assist teachers in working with at-risk students, LEP students, and other special needs students
  • Compile, maintain, and file reports, records, and other Title I/RTI programs
  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor school-wide at-risk and RTI programs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of parent programs
  • Ability to analyze campus data
  • Demonstrated leadership skills at the campus level
  • Serve as a resource for classroom teachers with strategies, plans, and materials
  • Provide staff development on campus
  • Serves as a member of the Response to Intervention (RTI) Team
