Company Description

Ray-Mont Logistics is a dynamic organization dedicated to serving as the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We offer a range of operational logistics services, including loading, transportation, and storage of surplus products.

We are currently seeking a permanent full time Hostler Driver to join its vibrant team.The hostler driver is responsible for efficiently moving and positioning trailers, containers, or other equipment within the terminal.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, with availability for both First and Second shift
  • First shift operates from 5am until 3pm
  • Second shift operates from 3pm until 1am

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct equipment inspections according to pre-inspection checklist.
  • Utilize the hostler to relocate containers from the grain scale to the stacking area and retrieve empty containers.
  • Operate forklifts at docking stations to load and cross-dock 53' OTR or 20'/40' containers, handling palletized goods, slip-sheeted goods, as well as loading bales and rolls of paper into containers.
  • Support maintenance with tasks related to the pickup and drop-off of Ray-Mont chassis.
  • Assist general labourers during idle periods with tasks such as cleaning intermodals, closing container doors, and removing trash.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shunting or as a truck driver.
  • Proficiency as a forklift operator.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

Work Environment : Must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
