We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team in Raleigh, NC.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $275,000 per year. The role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on performance. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc.
Requirements:
- Licensed Psychiatrist for practice in North Carolina
- Must be Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in North Carolina
- Must obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration
- Can commute to the location full-time

Beneficial Skills & Experience:
- The candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Forming excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinating care with external providers
- Conducts outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provides ongoing medication management
- Participate in enriching the training experience of our graduate students
- Can provide CBT-oriented counseling and psychotherapy as part of appointments, if desired
- Ability to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures, if desired
- Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

First Step Services is an NCDHHS-licensed outpatient facility for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. First Step Services strives to utilize best practices while providing outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment and intensive outpatient services for substance use disorders in the community. Our goal is to make treatment services as accessible as possible and to reduce as many barriers to treatment as possible throughout the Triangle region of North Carolina.
