Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center, affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center, is a 124-bed skilled nursing facility committed to providing continuous care and support for long-term and sub-acute patients. This is a per diem position supporting Day Shift [7:00AM-7:30PM].

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma required
* Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program required
* Valid New Jersey Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license required
* AHA BLS prior to start date required
* Previous acute care or emergency care experience is preferred

Essential Functions:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the supervision of a professional nurse and the nurse manager in providing patient care utilizing the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. LPN s will assist the Nurse in pain management, implementation of care, and administer medications accurately and safely, monitoring therapeutic responses, adverse reactions and incompatibilities. The LPN will recognize, respond, and support patient emergencies, document significant change in patient condition and patient responsiveness to interventions/treatment. LPNs are an integral contributor within our extended care team offering additional patient care support.
