Qualifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Drives a company provided Semi Tractor and trailers.
* Pull loads between three locations within one mile of each other.
* Follows ALL DOT rules, laws, and regulations.
* Fills out DOT log form, either electronic or paper log.
* Pull shuttles from dock to dock and follow all GNC docking procedures.
* Comply to all GNC policies and procedures.
* Take an active role in safety, promote, and encourage safety practices.
* Provide feedback to upper management for continuous improvement.
* Keeps the tractor clean inside and out, by rotating with other drivers.
* When not driving, work inside Skokie plants with the warehouse.
* Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

* Valid class A CDL license required.
* Minimum 6 months of driving experience.
* Possess DOT medical card.
* High school diploma or GED.
* Safe driving record.
* Good communication skills.
* Teamwork
* Flexible hours required.
* Scheduled weekends required.
* Capable to read and write English.
