JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32
Work Shift: 8am - 5pm (variable Mon - Fri)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in a busy cardiology clinic. In this role, you will provide essential support to our healthcare providers, assist with patient care, and help ensure smooth clinic operations. This position is perfect for someone passionate about patient care, interested in cardiology, and able to handle a fast-paced clinical environment.
Summary of the Job:
Sets up and performs various EKG's, Holters, Pacemaker, device and Stress Testing as well as all necessary paperwork. Performs other delegated tasks in accordance with departmental policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and work under stressful situations. Experience with medical office scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience as an EKG or Cardiology Technician. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Basic computer skills.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
Physical Effort required:
Constant (67%-100%) - pushing/pulling, reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing seeing
Frequently (34%-66%)- NONE
Occasionally (1%-33%)- lifting, carrying, climbing (stairs, ladders, etc.), balancing, stooping and crouching
