Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transferring residents to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and caring atmosphere.
  • Document care provided accurately and timely in residents' medical records.

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications:

  • CNA Certification in NY
