So, what will you be doing?

In this role, you will be responsible to operate, maintain and oversee all the areas within the mill to assure compliance with established procedures relative to quality, productivity, maintenance, and safety by performing assigned duties.

The core responsibilities and duties include:

* Contribute to the creation and implementation of operational best practices that lend to the manufacturing vision, strategy, and policies of the site
* Constantly reviews the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Follows standard operating instructions/procedures in the performance of all areas including start-up, shutdown, and normal operations
* Review product quality and makes system adjustments as needed
* Monitor and adjust drag chain conveyors
* Performs housekeeping duties as requested, is responsible for keeping designated area clean and clear of safety hazards
* Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in clean, good working order including but not limited to: changing bearings, changing pellet mill parts, changing hammer mill parts, carry out maintenance activities on pumps, valves, fans, piping systems, compressors and conveying systems, and other minor plant maintenance as needed

Do you have?

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 3-5 years industrial experience
* Demonstrated electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
* Ability to adapt to working within a team or lone working environment, with minimal supervision
* Must have a professional attitude and work well with others
* Promote a safe working environment and follow all workplace and job safety procedures
* Perform/coordinate good housekeeping in the facility
* Must be willing to work shift which includes weekends, nights, and holidays
