Psychometrist | Child

Find your purpose by being a key link in getting patients the help they need as a Psychometrist in the Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit

Position Details:

* Full-time, 80 hours
* Monday - Friday (no evenings, nights, or weekends)
* 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

What you'll do:

* Responsible for administering and scoring selected psychological test instruments and forwarding the results for inclusion in the evaluation report.
* Observe and document patient behaviors throughout the testing process.
* Assist the psychologists in the psychological assessment process, including administrative tasks such as phone contact, scheduling, gathering clinical information, organizing, and maintaining testing supplies.
* Work under the direction and supervision of the behavioral health director and psychologist.

What you'll have:

* High School diploma or GED required.
* Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology, Education or direct human service field is preferred.
* Direct experience in the administration and scoring of psychological test instruments or minimum of one year work experience in a human service setting that involves providing diagnostic and treatment services to individuals with behavioral and emotional health problems preferred.
