SpiriTrust Lutheran® seeks enthusiastic and driven individuals who are interested in obtaining their CNA license. Our next class will be held October 14th Apply today as spots fill up quickly
- Classes will be held at The Village at Kelly Drive and Sprenkle Drive in York, PA.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- $13.00/hr during training
- Wage after training will be determined based upon previous experience.
- 3.5 week classes (Days 1-10: in the classroom and lab at The Village at Kelly Drive. Days 11-18: Clinicals at The Village at Sprenkle Drive).
- Class is Monday through Friday 7:00a-3:30p, 75 hours per bi-weekly pay
- Expectation to commit to at least 1 year of Full Time employment at SpiriTrust Lutheran after training is complete and you obtain your CNA license.
- A passion for working with the elderly population and desire to display dignity and compassion is a MUST.
Below is the general job description for our Nursing Assistant Positions.
Required:
- Completion of a Commonwealth of PA approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
- A passion for serving older adults.
Experience: Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
General Responsibilities:
- Interacts with residents, families and fellow team members in a way that is consistent with our core values of heritage, service, integrity, dignity and stewardship.
- Provides direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
- Work as a team with fellow caregivers to meet resident needs in a timely manner.
- Apprise clinical leadership of any changes in a resident's status.
