JOB SUMMARY The Certified Nursing Assistant partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. # The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit#occupies the second floor of the#d#Youville Pavilion.# This 42-bed unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements,#back surgery, stroke, and#other illnesses or injuries of a short-term nature where a rehab approach might be beneficial.# Nursing services often include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.# # JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION Graduate of Maine State Board-approved CNA course Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry EXPERIENCE 1-3 years previous CNA experience#preferred# Will consider new CNA#s with relevant work experience OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED Medical#terminology preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills are required. JOB SUMMARY

The Certified Nursing Assistant partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.

The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit occupies the second floor of the d'Youville Pavilion. JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

* Graduate of Maine State Board-approved CNA course
* Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry

EXPERIENCE

* 1-3 years previous CNA experience preferred
* Will consider new CNA's with relevant work experience

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

* Medical terminology preferred
* Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
* The ability to work well within a team of other care providers
* Flexibility required to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week
* Flexibility to float to other units as needed
